Once a week, we try something new in the kitchen for those students who like to cook.  Below are some of our recipies.

 Fireside Chili

1 pound ground beef

1 pkg mild chili seasoning

1 can Rotel tomatoes

1 can diced tomatoes

2 cans chili beans

Saute meat till done, add rest of ingredients plus one can of water and simmer for 1 hour.  ENJOY!

 Tombstone Cupcakes

1 yellow cake mix

1 package Nutter Butter cookies

chocolate icing

Mix cake mix and make into cupcakes and cool.  Place icing in a plastic sandwich bag with a small snip out of one corner so icing can be squeezed out into decorations.  Mark individual cookies with eyes or R.I.P..  Ice all cupcakes with chocolate icing and place a cookie into each cupcake.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Turkey, dressing/gravy, fried okra, watergate salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, pumpkin pie, banana pudding, apple crisp! YUM YUM

Christmas Party Goodies

We also write essays, take hikes, go on field trips and do some sort of science lab each week.
